It's December and we're excited to have the studio decorated in winter holiday fashion complete with festive sparkles, snowflakes, and Nutcrackers! Our students are already looking forward to working on winter-themed choreography in their classes—many have already expressed their excitement for the return of the annual "Nutcracker Dance" with choreography set to Tchaikovsky's iconic orchestral work. Be sure to join us for Observation Week at the studio December 15-20.
Please note that no regular classes will be held during our Winter Break, December 22–January 4.
Spring registration timeline
Our fall semester ends on January 31 and our spring semester runs February through May, with end of year performances happening May 30 and 31. Our spring classes will follow the same class schedule as our fall offerings.
For those who are currently enrolled in fall classes and wish to continue with us through the end of the year, we offer a priority registration period December 29–January 3. During this time, you can register for the same class(es) you're already enrolled in knowing that your spot is guaranteed. A priority registration link will be shared with currently enrolled families on December 29 and will expire on January 3, after which point your spot will no longer be guaranteed. So mark your calendars for December 29–January 3 and make sure you complete your spring registration during this period!

Come join us for Steppin' Out's Winter Camps! The first week of activities will include holiday gift making and of course some dancing and tumbling. You're welcome to sign up for one or both weeks, but space is limited at this point, so we suggest you enroll ASAP!

Looking for a dance performance to enjoy over the holiday check out ODC's The Velveteen Rabbit (now through December 7) or enjoy the San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker (December 5-28) at the beautiful San Francisco Opera House.
Celebrate the holiday season with a magical walk through Golden Gate Park Botanical Garden as it is transformed in to an amazing holiday light show or head across the bridge and spend the day at Children's Fairyland. Try out ice skating at the Union Square Ice Rink |and check out the nearby pet lovers don't forget to visit the Macy's Holiday Windows featuring some super sweet puppies and kittens form the SPCA!
