Winter Camp

Steppin' Out Winter Camp 2025 registration is now open!

Steppin' Out is offering two, multi-day winter camps for kids ages 6-12! Our camps are known for being enriching, age appropriate, and fun! Camp will be led by Steppin' Out director Angela Dorantes and Camp Experience Manager Pearl Marill. Teacher-camper ratio is 1:6.

Whether you need childcare over the holidays or just want an extra exciting winter activity, Steppin' Out has you covered. Come take advantage of our magical winter days packed full of delightful and creative activities and surprises. Your camper will learn new skills like baking, yoga, and sewing, all while having fun and gaining new experiences in dance. Space is limited, so enroll early to secure your spot!

Camp runs 9:00am-3:00pm (drop off as early as 8:30; no after care). Healthy snack is provided, but please pack a lunch for your camper (most days we eat at Chan Kaajal Park, weather permitting).

Typical day

Each day will include 45 minutes of dance and yoga as well as one of the following activities: baking, arts and crafts, and sewing. We offer a period of camper free time with activities like coloring, games, and books. We will eat lunch at In Chan Kaajal Park (around the corner from the studio at 17th and Shotwell) for fresh air and a chance to run off some energy whenever weather permits. On one day, we will take a field trip to the Yerba Buena Center for an exciting activity!
