The fall class schedule is here!
We hope you are enjoying your summer! The photo above is of our youngest dancers ushering in summer with their crowd pleasing "Bumble Bee Boogie" tap dance at last month's performance.
Performance videos
Recently we sent out the performance videos via an email to all students who participated in our end of the year performances. Please enjoy watching your lovely performance, and feel free to download and share with family/friends who were unable to attend the live performance. If you didn't receive the performance link, please email Angela.
Fall class schedule
All of our classes are thoughtfully designed to appropriately challenge and meet the needs of the students in the room. You'll notice that some of our classes are labeled only by level, while others are labeled by both age and level:
If a class is labeled Advanced or Intermediate I, II, III, or IV, this means that students must be placed into the class. If you are new to Steppin' Out, please contact Angela to schedule a placement class.
If a class is labeled Beginning I, II, III, or IV, this means that, while ability level, experience, and learning style are still considered, age is also a factor in determining which class a student is placed in.
If a class is labeled Pre-Ballet/Tap/Tumbling or Open Level, this means that anyone can sign up for the class as long as they are within the designated age range.
The age listed for each class refers to the age that the dancer will be on September 1st, 2026.
All returning students received a placement email from Angela in the last week that indicates which class(es) are recommended for you this coming school year.
If you're a new student, you can find more guidance about what level might be right for you at the link below. And you're always welcome to email Angela to inquire about your specific situation.
Fall registration timeline
July 27th: pre-registration begins for all returning families. (Families who were just enrolled during spring 2026 will receive a pre-registration link via email that will be active for one week.)
August 3rd: registration opens to all newsletter subscribers. (You will receive a registration link in the August newsletter.)
September 8th: fall classes begin.
Our fall class schedule was designed to have enough spots and classes for all returning families, but please make sure you register early in order to secure a spot in the class day and time you prefer]
Pricing for fall classes
Since we haven't raised prices in a while, we want to give you plenty of heads up that our class prices will be increasing slightly this fall. Our rate for a one-hour class will increase to $24 per class. This increase will allow us to keep up with inflation and help appropriately compensate our phenomenal teaching staff. Learn more about tuition details here.
Providing high quality dance classes to students from all economic backgrounds remains a priority at Steppin' Out. We will still be offering the usual sibling discounts as well as our need-based scholarship program. If class prices are prohibitive to you, please contact Angela to request a scholarship application form.
Movement of the month: family dance party!
Clear some space in your living room and set the tone with the perfect playlist. Everyone's free to dance exactly how they want without judgment. You can turn it into a game like freeze dance (where everyone has to freeze whenever the music gets paused) or have a dance battle where you take turns showing off your best (or silliest) moves. Have fun!
