Congratulations to all our students for an amazing performance last weekend! Our Steppin' Out teachers hope to inspire our students to find joy through movement and an appreciation for dance traditions. We understand that the education and creative process leading up to the performance is just as important as the final product. We are so proud of all of our students and hope that you feel confident and proud of what you have accomplished. It was a fantastic year!
The performance video is being edited and, as soon as it's ready, we will send all currently enrolled families the link to download and share. Our photographer is also in the midst of the editing process, so stay tuned for an opportunity to view and purchase the photos that she took during the performance.
For those who are wondering, our fall class schedule will be made available in July and registration will take place in August.

DANCE IN THE NEWS: SFDanceworks
Teacher Emily is performing in SFDanceworks' annual season June 30-July 2 right around the corner from Steppin' Out at ODC Theater. Emily will be dancing in high intensity contemporary works by nationally and internationally renowned choreographers. More information + tickets.
MOVEMENT OF THE MONTH: CARTWHEEL
With the summer weather and many of us flocking to the park, the grass is a perfect place to practice cartwheels! For an added challenge, if you already have the general mechanics of the cartwheel, try pointing your feet and keeping both legs strong and straight.
